Experience
· (Software Experience) From over 6 years of using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in countless projects and creations, I have developed an advanced level of knowledge in each program, allowing me to create a variety of design work in many different styles. I also have experience in software such as Adobe Dimensions, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, After effects and 3 dimensional programs such as Blender. I update and manage my own personal website using Square Space. Additionally, I have used Microsoft office throughout most of my education and I’m comfortable in learning any new software.
· (Project Experience) Throughout my education I have worked on a variety of projects, working alongside live clients such as Oakham Ales, the Key Theatre, Stamford college, NHS and local music artists and bands. I have experience with responding to client briefs and keeping clients up to date through meetings, in addition to working on several projects at one time using time management skills. I also have experience working in a team and as a team leader using positivity and patience to ensure we as a team have met client expectations and deadlines, furthermore I have collaborated with fellow design students in planning and executing an in-person design exhibition, from creating banners and signs to working on individual artistic exhibition spaces.
· (Design Experience) I am well experienced with both digital vector-based design as well as physical, artistic print-based design work, including typographic, illustrative, image based and 3d rendered design. I have designed a variety of items such as:
- Lanyards
- Posters
- Album covers
- 20 ft banners
- Hardback books
- Zines
- T shirts
- Business cards
- Magazines
· (Work Experience) I have worked part time in retail for 3 plus years alongside my education, this has enabled me to strongly develop my communication skills such as customer service and problem solving.
